In times of stress my uneducated opinion

Is that people get polarized.

There is polarization between tech optimism and tech pesimism.

A dichotomy between political  resource centralication and a pushback for more spread out resources.

I’n tech it’s open source vs not. Synced vaults vs cloud storage. Renting vs owning.

The same things happens in music.

Polarization.

Mainstream appeal vs core group cultivation.

Message vs approachability.

Theatrics vs sincerity.

Distortion vs cleans.

Maybe chaotic times need more exaggerated art. To make us as humans see things more clearly?
